Booking Zigatango

Zigatango has no set fee and our performance cost depend on several things such as:

  • Number of people performing in the requested line up (usually all 5 of us, although we have done corporate gigs occasionally with 3 or 4 people)
  • Number of sets of music and the time spent waiting around during speeches etc. (normally we play 45 minute sets with 15 minute breaks. 2 sets is our usual booking slot although we can stretch to 3 sets.
  • Distance to travel to and from the gig, and any other logistics.
  • PA requirements - we must hire or organise a PA when performing which bears an additional cost.
  • The type of event. - We have done heavily discounted or even free performances for many charity events in the past. Occasionally we will consider performing for less than our standard rate as a way of helping various organisations, events etc.
  • Specific song requests. If you wish us to learn new repertoire for a wedding or specific function, we will take this into account, although most of the time we enjoy the challenge of learning new repertoire.
